The Community Church is a spiritual home and family for anyone who wants
to join us.
We are here to:
- tell people about Jesus Christ, of how He died and rose again from
the dead and is alive today.
- tell of how He loves the whole world and has made a way for you to
be his friend through His loving sacrifice on the cross.
- tell of how He has changed each one of our lives
Our aim is to do the things Jesus told us to do. He said "Love one another,"
and "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to
obey everything I have commanded you". We are committed to:
- loving God,each other and those outside the Church,
- alleviating the needs of the poor both here and worldwide,
- seeking to win people to Jesus,
- baptizing them and teaching them the ways of God through the Bible.
We want to be a people who are "for God, for each other, for the world both
near and far".
Our vision for the Community Church:
- is to be a growing church - growing in number, maturity and in the
worship of God. We are praying that we might grow to over 300 believers by
the end of 2006 and to see new believers fed into small groups across the
Wandsworth, Fulham, Putney and Roehampton. We aim to see ministry and gifting
released amongst the members of the body of Christ in order to expand the
influence, power and knowledge of the Gospel across this whole area, and,
in partnership with New Frontiers, across the whole of London and beyond.
